As Director of Data, Value Enablement and Research, Darren aligns key industry learnings with extensive data analytics to underpin the business strategies and activities. Darren works with every department in the business to ensure their operations are supported by key metrics and relevant findings, and collating our information to deliver insights to our audiences.
Moving from hospitality and festival coordination, Darren worked extensively in the development sector as a Communications officer for groups including the Neighborhood Junction Centre and not-for-profit the Welcome Dinner Project. Time overseas in Laos PDR saw Darren lead multiple initiatives for the Embassies’ Aid programs, uplifting the capability of Associations and Ministries in Laos PDR to promote advocacy and develop policy for people living with disabilities, and gender equality, then to Project Lead for Oxfam’s Voice program, as well as continuing to work with local advocacy groups.
Returning to Australia saw engagement in various senior positions across the technology and events sector; working in customer success, data and business development positions at Jomablue, Yellow Door Productions and FST Media, as well as continuing to consult for groups and businesses in the region, with a focus on aligning business operations and personnel to strategic customers and audiences via targeted engagements and innovative digital solutions.
